Chelsea are on the verge of 7 days of complete torture.
First, the Blues should secure their location in the Premier League top 4 by beating Aston Villa, or deal with the chilling prospect of losing out on the Champions League and instead getting in the dreaded Europa League.
Fear not though, Blues. Must the worst case scenario unfold on Sunday, then one fracture at redemption still remains. Thomas Tuchel’s males have made themselves a location in Europe’s most significant contest – the
Champions League final.
Win that, and whatever happens on Sunday will be irrelevant. Still, it’s best not to leave everything to a single match versus Premier League champs Manchester City, right?
So what does Tuchel do? Does he rest gamers ahead of the big video game?
Does he go full strength versus Villa and run the risk of injuries or perhaps more fatigue? It’s a difficult call, however we’ve given it a go.
=” Thiago Silva” title=” Thiago Silva” > Ready for action|Quality Sport Images/Getty Images Edouard Mendy( GK)- No amusing organization with Kepa Arrizabalaga, eh? Let’s simply get Mendy between those sticks, and let him do his things. The Blues remain in capable hands. Cesar Azpilicueta (CB )- Experience is essential, and this backline has actually got lots of it. Azpilicueta will offer his 31 years of knowledge to support the ideal side of the defence, and keep an eye on Jack Grealish.
Good luck. Thiago Silva (CB) – Andreas Christensen must be back to full physical fitness for this one, but Tuchel might choose to give him optimal rest and rely on Silva rather. What a huge selection of alternatives they have. Antonio Rudiger( CB) -If you require gamers up for the fight, then look no further than Rudiger. The German protector was considering a brawl from minute one against Leicester City in midweek, and he’ll be eager to ditch for the Chelsea blue on Sunday, too. Reece James( RWB)- An amazing talent. There are few much better right-backs in Europe, so James merely has to start against Villa, and the exact same goes for the Man City clash, too. Jorginho( CM) – He may get a little bit of sorrow online, but Jorginho is an exceptional midfielder. He can assist Chelsea control the game against Villa, and hopefully bring home the 3 points. Mateo Kovacic( CM )- No N’Golo Kante for this one, so a Jorginho-Kovacic midfield collaboration will have to do. Not exactly a bad Plan B, is it? The Croatian star will add a lot of dynamism to the match. Ben Chilwell( LWB)- I do not care how many annoying goals Marcos Alonso scores, simply put Chilwell in the group! He’s
the very best left-back at the club, and he can be a definitive presence in both boxes. sport/Chelsea-v- Arsenal—Premier-League-8aadbb9d309a9f2062d49a0eebf0aad2.jpg" alt=” Mason Mount “title=” Mason Mount” > The golden kid|Catherine Ivill/Getty Images Hakim Ziyech (RW)- Kai Havertz is still working his method back to fitness after picking up a little knock, so it presents Ziyech with the opportunity to strut his things. A quality player.Timo Werner( ST) – For the love of God, Timo, remain onside. Do this, and you will score a lot more goals, which will really count. Werner’s got to develop his game, however there is no margin for error in the next week. Mason Mount (LW) – When Mount begins, Chelsea sparkle. He’s the difference in the last 3rd, and they require him in both matches if they are to reach the promised land of European glory.
