Liverpool draw against Man United, Arsenal still top Premier League

In a thrilling clash at Old Trafford, Liverpool and Manchester United battled to a 2-2 draw. The match started with Liverpool taking an early lead through Luis Diaz, but Manchester United fought back with Bruno Fernandes leading the charge.

Liverpool dominated the first half, creating numerous chances, but could only manage to score one goal. Manager Jurgen Klopp was left frustrated by missed opportunities as they went into halftime with a narrow lead.

In the second half, Manchester United showed their resilience. Fernandes equalized with a stunning strike from distance after a Jarell Quansah error. The momentum swung in United’s favor as Kobbie Mainoo scored a sublime goal to put them ahead, leaving Klopp stunned on the sidelines.

However, Liverpool refused to be defeated. Mohamed Salah stepped up and converted a crucial penalty, leveling the scores at 2-2 with just over 10 minutes remaining. The game reached a fever pitch in stoppage time as Liverpool pushed for a winner, but they fell short.

As the final whistle blew, both teams had to settle for a share of the spoils. Liverpool’s draw meant they relinquished ground in the title race. Meanwhile, Arsenal maintained their lead at the top of the table, edging ahead of Liverpool on goal difference, intensifying the race for Premier League supremacy.
