Chelsea star Nicolas Jackson made history with his goal against Nottingham Forest. The young forward surpassed club legend Didier Drogba’s goal tally during Drogba’s first season with the club.
Drogba joined Chelsea at the peak of his powers but could only manage 16 goals in his debut season. In contrast, Jackson has already scored 17 goals in 42 games.
It took Drogba three seasons to reach the 20-goal mark for Chelsea, achieving this feat in the 2006-2007 campaign with 33 goals in 60 games across all competitions.
Considering Jackson’s age of just 22, Chelsea fans are hopeful that he will continue to improve and become an even greater asset for the team.
