Crystal Palace has swiftly rejected Bayern Munich’s attempt to approach Oliver Glasner, according to reports. The chairman of the English club, Steve Parish, not only vetoed the move but also demanded a staggering €100m fee for the release of the coach. In contrast, Bayern had only budgeted €18m to lure Glasner away from his current contract, which runs until 2026. Despite the negotiations, Palace and Glasner showed no signs of entertaining the idea, leaving Bayern empty-handed.
