In a heavyweight AFCON quarter-final clash, Morocco will face Cameroon in Rabat on Friday night.
Cameroon started their AFCON journey with a 1-0 win against Gabon and followed it up with a thrilling 2-1 victory against South Africa. They will be looking to upset the host nation, although they suffered a 4-0 defeat the last time they faced Morocco in February 2021.
Cameroon will be without Lorient defender Darlin Yongwa due to injury, while Vincent Aboubakar and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting are not part of the squad. Manchester United’s Bryan Mbeumo and Brighton’s Carlos Baleba will be key players for Cameroon.
