De Bruyne, Man City star, prone to losing temper with teammates

Former Belgium assistant coach Thierry Henry has revealed that Manchester City star Kevin de Bruyne can become frustrated with his teammates. Henry, who worked with De Bruyne during his time as Roberto Martinez’s assistant, spoke highly of the midfielder’s footballing intelligence. He even compared him to Xavi, but noted that De Bruyne’s unique perspective on the game can sometimes lead to problems. “I have never seen a football brain like Kevin’s,” Henry said. “But how De Bruyne sees football… that can sometimes even get him into trouble. What I have seen him do during training and in matches… Even I sometimes did not know which planet De Bruyne was on. Then it sometimes drove him crazy, simply because his teammates were not at the same level.”
