Norwegian sensation Erling Haaland, currently plying his trade at Manchester City, took to social media to share a photo of himself standing on a scale with the caption “all good”, in response to his coach Pep Guardiola’s recent remarks about player weight gain during the festive season.
Guardiola had previously stated, “On the 25th (of December) I’m going to be there controlling how many kilos they put on. They arrive ‘chubby’. They can eat at Christmas, but I want to control them, I have to make the call for the 27th against Nottingham Forest.”
The Spanish tactician emphasized the importance of players maintaining their fitness levels, warning that any player who arrives three kilos overweight will not be making the trip to face Nottingham Forest in the upcoming fixture.
