Interest in Villarreal goalkeeper Filip Jörgensen is on the rise. The 22-year-old has had an impressive breakthrough season with the Yellow Submarine. According to Relevo, Chelsea is now joining the race for Jörgensen’s signature.
Chelsea currently has three goalkeepers on their books – Robert Sánchez, 26, Djordje Petrovic, 24, and Marcus Bettinelli, 32. However, they are looking to add another option to their squad. Wolves and Newcastle have also been previously reported to be interested in the talented shot-stopper.
Jörgensen is tied to Villarreal with a contract that runs until the summer of 2027.
