Lazio criticizes Kamada agents over Palace claims.

Lazio’s sporting director, Angelo Fabiani, has not held back in his criticism of departing player Daichi Kamada. The 27-year-old is reportedly on the verge of joining Premier League side Crystal Palace.

While Kamada had reached a personal agreement with Lazio, the club and player failed to see eye to eye on a release clause worth approximately £17 million. Fabiani expressed his disappointment with the situation, stating, “Last year, we had our sights set on Kamada as we were seeking a player with similar qualities to Luis Alberto. Alberto had not shown up for training camp and wanted to renegotiate his contract by May 30th.”

However, when the renewal deadline passed, Kamada’s representatives requested the same conditions once again. Fabiani was taken aback by their approach, describing it as “unexpected rudeness.” He made it clear that he would not be blackmailed, stating, “I calmly informed them that I had no interest in discussing this ‘extortion.’ These agents and players need to understand that anyone who joins Lazio must fully embrace the project and love the club.”

In conclusion, it seems that Kamada’s departure from Lazio has been marred by disagreements and a breakdown in communication. Fabiani’s strong words reflect the club’s commitment to maintaining a united and dedicated team.
