Camello’s heroics secure Olympic gold for Spain in 3-5 victory over France

In a thrilling final, Spain emerged victorious and added Olympic gold to their already impressive trophy cabinet. Sergio Camello, who came off the bench, was the hero of the match, scoring two goals in extra time to secure a 5-3 victory over France.

The game started with an early lead for France, as Enzo Millot found the back of the net. However, Spain quickly turned the tables with three goals in just 10 minutes. Fermin Lopez scored two goals, while Alex Baena added another to give Spain a comfortable lead.

Just when it seemed like Spain would cruise to victory, Maghnes Akliouche brought France back into the game with a well-executed play. Then, in the 93rd minute, Benat Turrientes committed a foul, giving Jean-Phillipe Mateta the opportunity to equalize with a penalty kick and force the match into extra time.

Both teams showed great determination and attacked relentlessly in the additional period. However, it was Sergio Camello who stole the show. He displayed incredible skill and composure, first scoring a magnificent lob and then sealing the victory with a breakaway goal.

The Spanish team celebrated their triumph with joy and pride, as they fulfilled their dream of winning the Olympic gold medal. It was a memorable match that showcased the talent and excitement of soccer at its finest.
