Estevao ‘Maravillao’ ensures Brazil’s future

Estêvão Willian Almeida de Oliveira Gonçalves, born in Franca on April 24, 2007, is making waves in the soccer world with his rapid adaptation to top-level football. The former Palmeiras player, who was signed for a whopping 45 million, has been on fire for Chelsea, scoring in his last three games as a starter.

In a recent match against Ajax, Estêvão not only scored but also became the youngest goalscorer for Chelsea in the Champions League at just 18 years and 181 days, surpassing Marc Guiu. His performance has impressed Enzo Maresca, who believes Estêvão will be a top player for Chelsea in the coming years.

Despite his young age, Estêvão has quickly adapted to life at Chelsea both on and off the pitch. He has also been making waves with the Brazilian national team, scoring four goals and earning three MVP awards in just 10 games.

In a friendly against Senegal, Estêvão once again showcased his talent with a trademark strike. Carlo Ancelotti, Chelsea’s manager, has been full of praise for the young winger, highlighting his finishing ability, magic on the ball, and strong work ethic.

With four goals and one assist in 16 games for Chelsea and four goals in five games for Brazil, Estêvão’s impact has been undeniable. Ancelotti considers Chelsea lucky to have him and believes that Estêvão, also known as ‘Maravillao’, is destined for greatness.
