Forbes’ 2025 Ranking of Most Valuable Sports Teams: Cowboys, Lakers, Real Madrid, and More

Forbes magazine has just released their list of the 50 most valuable teams of 2025, and it’s no surprise that the NFL continues to dominate the top spot. With 30 teams in the top 50, the NFL is showing no signs of slowing down. The NBA comes in second with 12 teams, while soccer is represented by LaLiga and the Premier League with four teams between them.

The combined valuation of the 50 clubs is a staggering $350 billion, a far cry from just six years ago when the most valuable sports team was worth $5 billion. Now, that figure wouldn’t even crack the top 50.

The Dallas Cowboys once again claim the title of the most valuable team of the year, with a mind-blowing valuation of $13 billion. Real Madrid, once a close rival, now sits at just half that value. The NBA’s Golden State Warriors are hot on the Cowboys’ heels, coming in at a close second.

In the top 20, we see two of the four soccer teams on the list, with Real Madrid leading the pack as the most valuable soccer team in the world at $6.75 billion.
