Mbappe has the chance to surpass Ronaldo’s 59 goals in a calendar year with Real Madrid in their upcoming match against Sevilla. He only needs one goal to equal the record and two goals to break it, with the Santiago Bernabeu eagerly awaiting the outcome.
Cristiano Ronaldo initially achieved many records as a winger before becoming a prolific goalscorer. However, Haaland and Mbappe’s numbers cannot be ignored, with Haaland leading the Golden Boot race with 19 goals in 17 Premier League games.
