Howe advises patience with Newcastle’s new signings

Eddie Howe is banking on his recent signings to make an impact as Newcastle United prepare to face Wolves this Saturday. The Magpies have struggled to find the back of the net in their last few games, but with new additions Nick Woltemade and Yoane Wissa on board, there’s hope for improvement.

Despite the Alexander Isak transfer saga finally coming to an end, Howe is urging fans to be patient with the new attackers as they settle into the team. Woltemade, who impressed for Germany during the international break, is expected to bring technical skill and goal-scoring prowess to the squad.

On the other side, Wolves have been leaking goals, conceding eight in their first three league games. Manager Vitor Pereira is looking to integrate new signing Tolu Arokodare into the team to bolster their attacking options.

In terms of predictions, Newcastle have a strong record against Wolves at home, with only one loss in their last 22 meetings. The Magpies have also been solid defensively, facing the fewest shots of any team in the league so far this season.

According to Opta, Newcastle have a 64.9% chance of winning, with a draw at 18.8% and Wolves at 16.2%. With both teams looking to kickstart their season, it promises to be an intriguing clash at St James’ Park.
