Juventus are reportedly eyeing a summer move for Kim Min-jae from Bayern Munich, as per TuttoJuve. The South Korea international central defender could be available for a fee ranging between €40 million and €50 million.
Not only Juventus, but clubs in the Saudi Pro League are also keen on securing the services of Kim. However, the Italian giants are facing financial constraints and are unable to meet the asking price for the 28-year-old, who previously won the Serie A title with Napoli before joining Bayern.
Kim has already made 43 appearances for Bayern, scoring three goals in the process. In his 36 matches across all competitions this season, the defender has contributed with one goal and two assists. Currently, Bayern sits comfortably at the top of the Bundesliga table with 75 points from 31 matches, eight points ahead of second-placed Bayer Leverkusen.
On the other hand, Juventus finds themselves in a less favorable position, currently occupying fourth place in the Serie A table with 62 points from 34 matches.
It remains to be seen whether Juventus can find a way to secure Kim’s services within their financial limitations or if another club will swoop in and land the talented defender.
