Manchester United midfielder Casemiro was notably absent from the FA Cup celebrations last night. Despite attending the final as an injured player, Casemiro missed out on the festivities after United’s triumphant 2-1 victory over Manchester City at Wembley.
The Brazilian midfielder was forced to sit out of the matchday squad due to injury, with defender Willy Kambwala taking his place. United manager Erik ten Hag addressed Casemiro’s absence, stating, “Cas is not 100 per cent. Additionally, we needed a strong defense to counter Phil Foden’s threat.”
According to The Sun, Casemiro chose to skip the post-match partying in order to embark on a summer holiday abroad with his family.
