Chelsea no longer interested in Ipswich boss McKenna

Chelsea have decided to end their pursuit of Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna, according to reports. The 38-year-old has enjoyed great success with Ipswich, leading them from League One to the Premier League in just two seasons. However, it seems that Chelsea have now turned their attention elsewhere.

Brighton are said to be keen on securing McKenna’s services and are making a strong push to bring him on board. Manchester United are also keeping an eye on the situation, with McKenna reportedly on their radar if Erik ten Hag is sacked.

BBC Sport has confirmed that McKenna is no longer in the running for the Chelsea job. Despite being an early favorite for the position, he has not made it to the final list of candidates.

It remains to be seen where McKenna’s future lies, but it appears that Chelsea is no longer a viable option for him. The decision to drop their interest in him suggests that the club has other plans in mind.
