Dyche begins Everton squad planning.

Everton manager Sean Dyche has revealed that the club is already in the process of planning for next season. With their Premier League status secured, the Blues will be hosting Sheffield United on Saturday.

Reflecting on the challenges he has faced since taking charge, Dyche said, “I’ve been dealing with a situation where the goalposts can move significantly at any given time. It’s not new to me. This is the nature of managing a football club like Everton. We are currently on shifting sands. I’ve always emphasized the importance of establishing a solid foundation to build upon, but we’re not quite there yet.”

When asked about making decisions on players, Dyche explained, “We are doing our best to manage different situations. My staff and I are evaluating the options available to us, both within the current squad and externally. However, any contractual decisions need to be approved by the interim board and ultimately by the owner. It’s crucial for the club to keep progressing.”

Dyche also highlighted the challenges of the transfer market, saying, “The transfer side is more complicated. We need to consider factors such as available funds and revenue generation. It’s a complex process, trying to anticipate all possible scenarios.”

In conclusion, Everton fans can rest assured that their club is actively preparing for the upcoming season. While there are still hurdles to overcome, Dyche and his team are determined to build a strong and competitive squad.
