Jackson scores 2 goals in 50th Chelsea appearance, clinching 3-0 win at West Ham.

Nicolas Jackson celebrated his 50th appearance for Chelsea in style, netting two early goals to lead his team to a commanding 3-0 victory over West Ham in the Premier League on Saturday.

The match was a display of dominance from Chelsea, with Jackson even providing an assist for Cole Palmer at the start of the second half. This comprehensive win further highlighted West Ham’s struggles, as they were met with boos from their disappointed fans at the final whistle.

This victory marked Chelsea’s third league win of the season, and interestingly, all three have come away from their home ground, Stamford Bridge. The result puts new West Ham coach Julen Lopetegui under immense pressure, as it was their third loss in the early stages of the Premier League campaign.

It took just under four minutes for Chelsea to take the lead, catching the West Ham defense off guard. Jackson initiated a quick one-two play with Jadon Sancho, before making a powerful run from the left and slotting the ball between Alphonse Areola’s legs from a tight angle. This goal showcased Sancho’s skill as well, as it was his second assist in as many matches since joining Chelsea from Manchester United.

In the 18th minute, Jackson doubled his tally with another impressive goal. He capitalized on a well-executed move, receiving a through ball from Moises Caicedo and calmly drilling the ball into the bottom left corner. This goal marked Jackson’s 21st in 50 appearances for Chelsea, highlighting his prowess as a forward.

Despite a brief period of hope for West Ham in the first half, where they had penalty appeals waved away and a goal ruled offside, their fortunes quickly turned for the worse at the start of the second half. Jackson turned provider this time, slipping the ball through to Palmer, who expertly found the back of the net off the inside of the left post.

In other matches, Manchester United is set to face Crystal Palace, while Liverpool will host Bournemouth. The Premier League action continues, and fans can expect more thrilling encounters as the season progresses.
