Moyes willing to return to West Ham

David Moyes has expressed his openness to a potential third spell at West Ham. The manager will be leaving his current position after the team’s final game of the season against Manchester City.

In a recent interview, Moyes stated, “You never say never in this game, I’ve always enjoyed my time here so who knows?” This suggests that he would consider returning to the club if the opportunity arises.

When asked about the possibility of working abroad again, Moyes responded, “If the right opportunity comes up and it suits me and the family, I might do.” He also emphasized his desire to ensure that British managers have more opportunities to manage in other countries.

Moyes believes that the Premier League often brings in the best managers from different countries, but there is not enough focus on exporting British managers to work in other leagues. He pointed out that the Championship, which used to be filled with young British coaches, is now similar to the Premier League in terms of foreign managers dominating top jobs.

The manager expressed his goal of pushing young British coaches to secure positions in overseas countries. He acknowledged that there are British coaches working in places like Norway or Thailand, but there are very few in the top five leagues in Europe.

In summary, David Moyes is open to the idea of returning to West Ham for a third spell and is also interested in working abroad again if the right opportunity presents itself. He wants to ensure that young British coaches have more chances to manage in other countries, as he believes there is currently a lack of representation in top European leagues.
